Max Victory Story Arc: “Con Wars” By John Michael Helmer 5-31-2010
4 panels
Panel 1 1st
This panel shows Max Victory sitting in a grass football field. He is rubbing his head, trying to discern where he is and what happened to him. Standing next to Max is a beautiful Latina-American woman, Serena Perez, with thick brown hair that seems to wave in the fall breeze.
LOGO/TITLE: Max Victory!
CAPTION: The story so far…in a daring attempt to surprise his arch nemesis Baron von Fitzer by time traveling a year in the future, American World War 2 hero Maximilian Victory was accidentally flung to far ---65 years into the future…
SERENA: Max, are you OK?
MAX: Oh…Uh…
Max: (continued) Wow! Time travel gives you a terrible headache!
Panel 2 2nd
Serena helps Max to his feet. He stares at her strange clothes, wondering, almost in a dazed state.
MAX: Who are you?
SERENA: My name is Serena Perez. My grandfather sent me here to meet you.
MAX: (continued) Grandfather?
SERENA: (continued) Yes, Doctor Chadwick
MAX: (continued) Dr. Chadwick? Oh no. What year is it?
SERENA: (continued) 2010.
MAX: (continued) Crap!
SERENA: (continued) I know.
Panel 3 3rd
Serena and Max are walking off the football field.
SERENA: Never mind that. We’ve got to act quickly. Baron von Fitzer is on the move.
MAX: He’s still alive 65 years later?
SERENA: Yes he is ---and deadlier that ever!
Panel 4 4th
Serena and Max are standing in front of a large complex of buildings. The sign in front says “Superhero/Villain Comic-con. Serena points to the sign.
MAX: Serena, look! The Baron just slipped into that building!
SERENA: Oh, great! We’ll never find him in that crowd.

Are we going for a campy feel then? Or are you going to tweak the storyline into something more serious in tone.
And, yes, I noticed Dracula as an avatar. Thanks. You know, Christopher Lee was an SOE operative during the war?

This is our big jump into webcomics. The strip will be drawn and colored by Brad Eastburn and posted on the home page of the website. Its campy and fun. They are true tales from our comic-con experiences from 1991-today! We plan to collect all the strips and print them in a color trade format for sale through the website. The trade will include extras: scripts, concept art, additional stories, and personal notes. Are we going for a campy feel then? Or are you going to tweak the storyline into something more serious in tone. And, yes, I noticed Dracula as an avatar. Thanks. You know, Christopher Lee was an SOE operative during the war?
