Max Victory
Name: Maximilian Victberg
Age: born Aug. 31st, 1920
Powers: Olympic class strength and agility
Origin: Max enlisted in the United States Army soon after the 1936 Olympics. At age 16, he won several gold medals competing in a variety of sports and athletic categories. Once in the Army, he was assigned to Ranger training and completed his instruction with high honors. Catching the eye of General Samuel Dozier, Max was shifted to a patriotic division and the identity of Max Victory was created. He was soon sent on missions with little strategic importance, but high visibility and soon became a darling of the press and general public.
Notes:
Max was caught up in the hype and hysteria of the super hero persona he helped create in the public eye. Always wanting more lights and limelight, Max sought the camera even before missions were complete, jeopardizing himself was well as his men. Usually traveling with a small squad of soldiers, his grunts took the besting while he had his picture snapped.
On a dangerous mission early in 1942, Max Victory was beaten severely by Baron von Fitzer and his Nazi cronies. The pool reporter assigned to the mission behind enemy lines took numerous pictures that shows Max in an unfavorable light. Seething at the bad press, Max turned to famed temporal scientist, Doctor Henry Chadwick for a quick fix. Chadwick suggested traveling into the near future and surprising his arch nemesis. Yearning to recoup his tarnished image, Max agreed and entered the machine...stepping out in 2010---decades off his targeted time.
Now, lost in a century he knows nothing about, Max searches for a way back to 1942 to erase 65 years of misery and bad press from the successes of Baron von Fitzer.
